Human Services Committee Introductions
This week, I had the pleasure of introducing our Human Services Committee Chair, Robin Licari, to Essex County Public Health Director Linda Beers and Essex County Office for the Aging Director Krissy Leerkes. We had a productive discussion about the services available to our residents and how the Town of Jay can help raise awareness around them. We also brainstormed some exciting ideas to create more opportunities for our aging population—particularly around social engagement and health care access.

Next week, we’ve got two important meetings:
- Planning Board Meeting: Wednesday, April 9 at 6:00 PM
- Town Board Regular Monthly Meeting: Thursday, April 10 at 7:00 PM
In my absence, Deputy Supervisor Tom McDonald will lead the Town Board meeting while I visit my daughter Jenna in Florida to celebrate her 21st birthday. Both meetings will be live-streamed as usual for those who wish to tune in from home.
