This coming weekend is the annual Missing Children’s Tournament in Au Sable Forks. This long running basketball tournament brings in 5/6 grade teams from across the North Country. Local Town of Jay/Town of Black Brook teams will be part of the field as usual. Come out and support this event which runs from Friday evening through Sunday at Au Sable Forks Elementary School and the Community Center.
On Saturday, the Jay Fire Department will host a Spaghetti Dinner. Whether you’re a long-time supporter or a newcomer to their gatherings, everyone is welcome to dine in or takeout. Your attendance not only promises a satisfying meal, but also contributes directly to the vital operations of our fire department. So mark your calendars, bring your appetite, and join them this Saturday, March 9th from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm for a night of good food and even better company at the Jay Fire Department Spaghetti Dinner!
The senior nutrition site at the Community Center will be closed on Monday, March 11th. The program will continue on Wednesday, March 13th. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Looking ahead to next week, it is Town of Jay Meeting Week. On Wednesday is the Planning Board meeting at 6:00pm. Thursday, March 14th is the Regular Town Board meeting at 7:00 pm. These meetings are available in person or virtually.
