Our Regular Board meeting was held this past Thursday. A number of topics were discussed including but not limited to, the parks, Short Term Rentals, Amnesty Day, and items to be introduced to be considered for the coming year’s budget. We introduced a local law to override the tax cap levy limit because of the increased rate of inflation due to COVID. We also had a lengthy discussion about utilizing a service to provide text, email, app alerts, and Robo-Calls for emergencies, boil water notices, town events, and more. If you are interested in listening to these topics or others, a link to the video of the meeting is available on the Town of Jay website.
