Do you know your flood risk? FEMA is hosting two Open Houses on Flood Risk and Insurance. If you live in Essex County, this is a chance to learn more about your updated flood maps, known as Flood Insurance Rate Maps. FEMA representatives will be there to answer questions. Learn about flood risk, flood insurance, and how to prepare for and protect yourself from flooding.
One Open House will be on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Essex County Emergency Public Safety Building, 702 Stowersville Rd., Lewis, NY 12950. The other is on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Knights of Columbus, 103 Montcalm St., Suite 1, Ticonderoga, NY 12883. All are welcome to come to either Open House, in person, at any time.
