Grove Road Temporary Repairs Completed

Yesterday, the Town of Jay Highway Department successfully completed the engineered temporary repairs on Grove Road, allowing it to reopen to one lane. This repair includes a jog in the lane to prevent large vehicles and tractor-trailers from using the 5-ton max repair section. This project was made possible through the engineering firm we hired in December using remaining ARPA funds. The firm is still working on plans for the permanent repair, and once the documentation is finalized, we will put the project out to bid to ensure a long-term solution.
