Holiday Lights:
A huge thank you to Kevin Zaumetzer for his hard work organizing the holiday decorating in the Town of Jay. Kevin has been decorating Au Sable Forks for years and, this year, extended his efforts to Upper Jay. He collaborated with Light Up Upper Jay and the Upper Jay Fire Department to add festive pole decorations to their hamlet as well. Kevin’s ability to rally support is always appreciated, and this year, we’d like to thank Northline Utilities, the Au Sable Forks Fire Department, Town of AuSable, Town of Black Brook, and Clintonville Auto for their help on a Saturday morning installation.

Christmas Events:

On Friday, December 6th at 6:00 PM, Light Up Upper Jay will hold their tree lighting ceremony at the park located at the corner of Rt. 9N and Springfield Road.

This Saturday, December 7th, marks the 20th Anniversary of Christmas in the Forks. The day will kick off at 10:00 AM with activities running through the parade and fireworks at 6:00 PM. Both the Town of Jay and Town of Black Brook will host a vendor fair at the Community Center from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and will be handing out free light-up Santa Hats for the parade starting at 6:00 PM. After the fireworks, be sure to visit Santa at the Community Center! For a full schedule of Christmas in the Forks activities, please refer to the attached flyer.

New CDL Driver:
Congratulations to Alex Nelson, a highway department employee, for passing his CDL test this week! With this achievement, we are proud to announce that the Town of Jay Highway Department now has a full staff of CDL drivers.

Hope you all have a wonderful week ahead!
