The Town of Jay will be conducting a Public Hearing on Monday, August 21st at 6:00 PM at the Town of Jay Community Center. The purpose of this meeting is to propose Local Law No. 3 of 2023 entitled “A Local Law Repealing Local Law No. 1 of 2004 Entitled ‘A Local Law Establishing and Providing for a Department of Public Works for the Town of Jay, Essex County, NY’.
This Public Hearing will be immediately followed by a Special Board meeting at 6:30 PM for the purpose of a resolution introducing Local Law No. 3 of 2023 entitled “A Local Law Repealing Local Law No. 1 of 2004 Entitled ‘A Local Law Establishing and Providing for a Department of Public Works for the Town of Jay, Essex County, NY’, as well as any other business that comes before the board.
